Improved Football

Mentality of a champion - 3 important things for football - soccer players - Part 1

| Articles | Ciprian Stoica

For starters, you have to want so much to become a top footballer that you dream in the night and in the day you visualize everything in your mind until everything becomes reality. No matter what your friends, colleagues and the world think about you, you have to believe in you and work every day to improve your football skills (physically, technically, mentally).

If there are 3 things a professional football player needs to have if he wants to be the best, they are the following:

1. Self-Discipline!

Without discipline you can't reach a top level because if you train properly, eat what you need and think positively, but otherwise do not worry about resting properly, others cancel each other. So here the balance is vital and you have to make sacrifices when the others go to the club or drink until the morning, you have to sleep and rest because you have the game next day. Without sacrifices, you cannot reach a professional level, because having a daily, weekly and monthly ritual you can keep your body at least at the same fitness level or even improve your physical, technical and mental abilities. 99% of people are not willing to do everything they can to make their dreams come true, so you have to take control of your mind and choose the actions that are most beneficial to you. Every day we make wrong choices, which are in our detriment, so you have to focus on the choices that bring you benefits and do not waste time with unnecessary things that do not take you anywhere.

2. Work hard!

Repetition, repetition and repetition! When it comes to doing a harder physical training and having to go over some exercises that put you in trouble at first, but eventually you do it right, then you will evolve because you have made the effort and the reward will come for a few days later in the game, if you do everything you need to be in the best physical form. You have to prepare yourself physically, even after a few painful muscular fever after a few exercises, that means you have worked and your muscles are adapting to the new level of training and you will become stronger. Additional work after training will make a difference as long as you do what you need.

“The separation of talent and skill is one of the greatest misunderstood concepts for people who are trying to excel, who have dreams, who want to do things. Talent you have naturally. Skill is only developed by hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft." - Will Smith

3. Believe in yourself!

Fall 8 times and get up 9 times! We do not have to make an opinion about ourselves according to the opinions of others, but you have to be yourself and get the best out of your abilities, while improving the others. Besides the fact that it takes an incredible will to trust yourself, when everyone else can talk badly about you and they think you are not good at anything, you have to define a goal, a destination where you want to go. Think this way, when everything seems to be against you, remember that the plane takes off against the wind and not with his help, so you have to be strong to reach the level you want.

And do not forget that the family is the most important, they are there near you in bad moments and good times, so take care of your family!
